Day after two prominent leaders of the National Conference, Devender Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Slathia, quit the party, 17 more leaders resigned from the post.
Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, who also has served as Deputy Mayor, is also included in the list. All the leaders who have resigned from the party have given 20-25 years of service to the party. But, according to the sources, the resigned leaders were not happy with the party’s work as Jammu was always sidelined from the development.
Arshad Choudhary- Provincial Secretary Jammu, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal-Jammu Urban District President J&K National Conference, Som Nath Khajuria- District President Jammu Rural A, Ashok Singh Manhas- Block President Bhalwal tendered their resignations from the primary membership of the party.
Members of the District Committee J&K National Conference, District Jammu Urban also tendered their resignations from their posts in the District Committee Jammu Urban and the party’s primary membership. Those tendered their resignations are-
