RAJOURI: District Administration sealed the J&K Bank branch at Thanna Mandi town in district Rajouri for violation of Covid SOPs on Thursday.
Official sources said that Tehsildar Thanna Mandi, Sahil Shah conducted surprise visit to the J&K Bank branch today on receiving complaint and found that Covid SOPs were not being followed properly. Tehsildar, asked customers and staff to move out and sealed the Bank branch immediately. He sealed the bank branch with the help of his staff and now this bank branch shall remain closed till further orders from the higher authorities.
Shah disclosed that he was receiving complaints for the last few days regarding violation of COVID SOPs in this bank branch and he personally spoke to the manager on phone telling him to maintain COVID protocol. He had also assured to follow SOPs but despite that it was found a mess in the Bank branch. “Since the COVID guidelines were not being followed by the Bank staff, the Administration had to take the harsh decision.
Now, till further directions from the District Administration Rajouri, the Bank branch will continued to be closed,” Shah maintained.
