Three inter-state drug peddlers arrested with 7 kgs cannabis in Jammu

JAMMU: Nagrota Police arrested three inter-state drug peddlers along with 7 kilograms of cannabis. This was disclosed by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Chandan Kohli.

Divulging the details, SSP said that a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Parupkar Singh and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma laid a naka near Ban Toll Plaza and intercepted a vehicle bearing Registration Number GJ19AM9664.

“During checking, police team recovered 7 kilograms of cannabis and arrested three persons, who were identified as Rakesh Pal, son of Bans Raj and Deepak Pandurang, son of Pandurang Narewade, both residents of Maharashtra and Bhailal Ramshiroman Pal, son of Ramshiroman Pal of Surat Gujarat”, SSP informed.

A case under FIR Number 399/2021 under Section 8/20/25/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
