UDHAMPUR: To review the progress of registration of beneficiaries and generation of golden cards under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana -Sehat Scheme, the Vaccination Status and Health Card Scheme for Vulnerable Population in the District, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib convened a meeting with BDCs, DDCs, Officers of health department and VLEs, here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
Detailed deliberations were held on various aspects which include progress under Ayushman Bharat scheme, beneficiaries registered and golden cards generated, beneficiary identification system, Transaction management system, IEC activities, Intensive vaccination drive, 18 -44 and 45 plus block wise target/achievements of COVID-19, No drops in testing levels, Issuance of health cards, Enforcement of Covid appropriate behavior, Preparation of health care infrastructure, Bottlenecks in implementation of Sehat scheme, Sample Collection, Contact tracing, Issuance of Covid health cards etc discussed in detail. At the outset, Dr K C Dogra, Chief Medical Officer, gave a detailed Power Point Presentation about Physical achievements of AB-PMJAY Sehat Scheme, Covid-19 vaccination & Health card scheme in the district.
The DC reviewed the zone wise progress of Covid-19 Vaccination, Testing, Sample collection, Registration of Sehat cards, generation of Golden cards, Issuance of Covid Health cards and asked the concerned to expedite the process. The DC directed to health department to start IEC activities on mission mode to generate massive awareness in the district to encourage the public for registration under Sehat scheme. During the meeting, the DC enquired from Block Medical Officers about the targets and achievements of all the three schemes and also asked for suggestions from the BDCs &DDCs for achieving the targets within stipulated time frame. To enhance the testing and vaccination, she stressed on local Administration, Health Department and other allied departments to work in co-ordination so as to achieve the given targets.
The BDCs and DDCs suggested various measures including holding camps in the areas which have recorded low registration. Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kanta Devi, DSEO, ARTO and other officers of health department representatives from Insurance Company and VLEs were present in the meeting.
