Police have arrested two youth with Chitta. According to the information, Rohit Sharma resident Dera Baba was passing through Reasi in a car bearing number R02E0700 from the Bari Brahmana area. When the police stopped the vehicle and searched, 1 gram of Chitta was recovered from the car. The police have registered a case.
Talking to the media, Naib Sarpanch said, “in our area, drug sales have increased to such an extent that the police have also faltered in curbing the sale. Police are performing their duty day and night, but our town is widely spread, and the peddlers are taking advantage of that. Apart from drug smuggling, 50-60 thefts have been reported in the area in the last three months. Therefore, we request that LG should deploy security forces so that drug smuggling can be curbed”.
Later the police also arrested two ladies and took them to the police station for further investigation.
