POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inderjeet today handed over keys of commercial vehicles to eight beneficiaries of “Customized Livelihood Generation Scheme- Mumkin- New Possibilities”.
The candidates were earlier approved for the scheme by the District Level Implementation Committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner. The selected candidates were given the keys ofvehicles in a function organized here at Dakbanglow Poonch, The vehicles included Ashok Leyland Dost strong having an on road price of Rs 7.76 Lakh approximately and Mahindra Bolero Pickup costing about Rs 8.58 lakh The candidates availed a 10% subsidy each from the manufacturing company of the vehicle and 20 % of vehicle cost under Mission Youth besides hassle free loan on Mudhra pattern for the remaining cost from J&K Bank.
The selected candidates do not have to give any guarantee nor margin money to the bank for buying a vehicle on loan. While congratulating the candidates, the DC said that this process will continue and more youth will be selected for the loan. He urged the unemployed youth to avail such novel employment schemes of the government to earn their livelihood.
ADDC Abdul Sattar; Assistant Director employment Seyed Abid Hussain Shah; District Information Officer, representatives of lead bank and manufacturing company were also present on the occasion.
