NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to continue Dr Jitendra Singh in PMO even after seven years, which is a record time for any Minister in PMO.
Dr Jitendra enjoys confidence of Modi and has been in PMO ever since Modi took over as PM first time on 26th May 2014. At the same time, since PM Modi has said, he wants to take personal interest in Science & Technology, he wants MoS PMO to be also In-Charge Ministry of Science & Technology.
Dr Jitendra Singh has created a record of longest serving Minister in the PMO.
