RAJOURI: An Army soldier was injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces near the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani town of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday night.
A defence spokesperson on Wednesday said that input was received regarding the presence of a group of suspicious armed persons near Dadal village near the LoC following which search ops were launched.
The group was tracked and an exchange of fire took place, resulting in minor injuries to a soldier, the official said, adding reinforcements have been rushed and an operation is on to neutralise the terrorists.
