KATHUA: Kathua police have traced out a lady who was missing since June 26 and reunited her with family members within 24 hours.
Police said on June 26 a missing report was lodged at Police Station (PS) Lakhanpur by one person stating that his daughter namely Raksha Sharma wife of Varun Sharma resident of Patoli tehsil and district Kathua is missing. Accordingly a missing report was lodged at PS Lakhanpur and search was started to trace her. Acting instantly the lady was traced out within 24 hours and immediately handed over to her legal heirs after completion of all legal formalities.
The search was conducted by a Police party headed by SHO Lakhanpur Sumeet Sharma, under the supervision of SSP Kathua, RC Kotwal.
