The Jammu and Kashmir Union territory on Tuesday witnessed 10 deaths due to Covid-19 while as 715 fresh positive cases were also reported, taking the number of total active cases in the UT to 12,407.
Out of 10 deaths reported, 02 died in GMC Doda, 02 in GMC Rajouri, 01 in DH Reasi, 01 in Home, 01 in DH Pulwama, 01 in SMHS Srinagar, 01 in CHC Kupwara and one in CHC Sopore.Rajouri district registered two deaths including 49-year-old Special Police Officer (SPO) from Qila Darhal and 65-year-old woman from Sokar Kandi. They succumbed to the virus at the GMC Rajouri. Deceased SPO was posted at Lam Police Post.
