COVID-19 Safety violations: Rs 57500 fine recovered in Rajouri

RAJOURI: Enforcement teams today recovered Rs 57500 fine for violation of Covid-19 Safety guidelines by the people in Rajouri district.

“To stem the further spread of the coronavirus pandemic, District Administration Rajouri has constituted teams under DDMA to enforce COVID19 SOPs and impose fines from the violators” an official said. He said the special teams, on the directions of District Magistrate, Rajesh K Shavan, conducted surprise inspections in different areas of the district.

Pertinently, the teams of different Departments headed by the concerned officers including Police, DSEO, Tehsildar Thanamandi and ADC Nowshera recovered a fine amounting to Rs. 31500, Rs. 11300, Rs. 4000 and Rs. 3600, respectively and the rest of the small amount was imposed by the other teams.

The teams urged the public to strictly adhere to the COVID19 protocols and warned them of the strict action if they are found violating the necessary guidelines as issued by the District Administration from time to time.
