KATHUA: Ninety three SPOs engaged in District Police Kathua from border belt of the district were given training at District Police Lines Kathua. Basic firing practice of SPOs was conducted at Firing Range Basantpur and they were trained how to handle and make use of arms and ammunition while performing their duties.
SSP Kathua R C Kotwal directed the instructors to ensure that all weapon safety rules and regulations are followed at all times.
After completion of basic traning, the SPOs would be deployed at the Border Police Posts to strenghten the border security grid of the district.
