JAMMU: Bahu Fort Police seized 4 quintals of polythene bags and arrested one person. As per police sources, information was received from reliable sources regarding loading of polythene bags in an auto.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania rushed to the spot and seized 4 quintals of polythene bags and arrested one person, who was identified as Suresh Kumar, son of Dhani Ram, a resident of Shiva Ji Chowk Nanak Nagar District Jammu.
Auto bearing registration number JK02BB-7852 was also seized. A case under FIR Number 199/21 under Sections 188 IPC and 6/7/10 J&K Non-Biodegradable Material Management Handling and Disposable Act 2007 has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
