NEW DELHI: Days after Ramdev sparked a row with his controversial comments on allopathy and allopathic doctors, another video of the yoga guru emerged on social media in which he is seen challenging the authorities to arrest him.
“Khair, arrest toh unka baap bhi nahi kar sakta Swami Ramdev ko (Even their father can’t arrest Swami Ramdev). They keep creating such trends, like ‘Thug Ramdev’, Mahathug Ramdev’, ‘Giraftar Ramdev’. Let them do it. Our people have become accustomed to such trends and our trends always reach the top,” Ramdev is seen saying in the video in response to the #Arrest Ramdev trends on social media.
Several on Twitter asked the authorities to arrest Ramdev after he called allopathy a “stupid science” and alleged that lakhs had died after taking allopathic medicines for Covid-19.
