The mortal remains of Kerala woman Soumya Santosh who was killed in the rocket attack on the Israeli city of Ashkelon today arrived in New Delhi. Union Minister V Muraleedharan and Roni Yedidia Klein, Deputy Ambassador of Israel, paid tributes to Soumya.
The plane took off from Ben Gurion Airport at around 7 pm on Friday carrying the body of 30-year-old Soumya. The Indian embassy in Israel shared the information via tweet. After reaching Kerala, Saumya will be cremated. Muralitharan had informed that Soumya’s body was being taken to Kerala via Delhi.
