Kashmir : Jammu and Kashmir police continuing its war against the menace of drugs arrested 02 drug peddlers in Bandipora, Bazipora Ajas Sumbal and recovered Charas from their possession.
Acting on a specific information,a police party led by SDPO Sumbal Shri Surinder Mohan -JKPS & DO P/P Ajas INSP. Qaiser Bashir under the supervision of SSP Bandipora Shri Mohammad Zahid -JKPS during a naka checking at Bazipora Ajas arrested two persons along with large quantity of Charas ,hidden in maize leafs. The accused have been identified as:-
01.Mubashir Ahmad Lone S/o Gh Rasool lone R/o Lone Mohalla Ajas
02.Shoket Ahmad Sheikh S/o Gh Mohd Sheikh R/o Rather Mohalla Ajas .
During preliminary enquiry it was revealed that the accused were notorious drug peddlers and were selling the drugs to youths of the area at exorbitant rates & make them drug addicts. Accordingly case FIR No.60/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act was registered in police station Sumbal and further investigation has been taken up.
People are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers and help police in eradicating the menace of drugs.
