REASI: Police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest from the past 7 years. The arrested person has been identified as Alam Din, son of Imam Din of Miran Sahib Jammu.
He was involved in repeatedly raping a woman and a case under FIR Number 27/2014 under Sections 366, 376, 343, 147 and 109 RPC stands registered against him at Police Station Reasi. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Court of CJM Reasi. Hunt is going on to arrest other persons involved in the case.
It is pertinent to mention here that, this was the fourth absconder, who has been arrested by Reasi Police within week’s time.
