A new session has started in the schools and the private schools have started asking for the tuition fee, admission fee and annual charges from the parents. Last year J&K Directorate of School Education launched a helpline desk under the name “Aao Baat Karein” and the helpline desk received numerous complaints from the parents that the schools in the UT have been closed till 30 April so why they have to pay all the extra charges.
On 14 May 2020 Directorate School Education released an order according to which the private schools can only charge tuition fee on monthly basis and can only charge other fees after the schools reopen properly.
