JAMMU: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone (now ADGP) Mukesh Singh onn Monday presented Jammu and Kashmir Police Medals for Gallantry (JKPMG) and Jammu and Kashmir Police Medals for Meritorious Services (JKPMMS).
IGP presented JKPMG to Abdul Jabbar, DIG DKR Range, Diwakar Singh DySP (Ops) Jammu, Satish Kumar, DySP SDPO City (N) Jammu, Shabir Ahmed Khan, DySP SDPO RS Pura and Constable Talib Hussain, (now HC) District Jammu. He also presented JKPMMS to ASI Balbir Singh. The JKPMG and JKPMMS were presented to police officers during a function held at ZPHQ Complex, here. The officers were honoured for their outstanding contribution in counter-terror operations.
IGP Jammu Zone congratulated the medal recipients and appreciated the indomitable courage and valour shown by the officers in the line of duty. Vivek Gupta DIG JSK Range, Jammu and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
