Common man in J&K supports peace, development: Vibodh

RAJOURI: BJP State general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta accompanied by BJP district general secretaries, Rajouri, Ranjit Tara and Koushal Gupta on Monday visited village Maira in Rajouri.

During his tour, Vibodh interacted with various delegations and locals raised their various day to day issues before the visiting BJP leader. Addressing a gathering in the area, Vibodh urged people to stand with peace as people in Rajouri and Poonch were always against violence. He said this will strengthen hands of PM Modi who is moving the country towards development peace and stability. Vibodh further added that today people have rejected parties like Congress, NC and PDP as they always used innocent people for their vested interests.

While referring to the development initiatives in Rajouri and Poonch by the Government during past few years, Vibodh said that today connectivity and roads in hilly areas of Rajouri and Poonch are making lives easy for common man specially for women. On people’s participation in developmental activities, Vibodh said that ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ is the Government’s motive and is the main driving force for the PM. To keep the pace of this growth, progress and development, strengthening hands of PM Modi is very crucial, Vibodh remarked. Referring to the welfare schemes of Government for common man, Vibodh said that today everyone is getting pacca houses, everyone got toilets, everyone got gas connection without any bias.

“Our principle is to provide everything to everyone without any discrimination”, Vibodh added. In his address BJP district general secretary, Ranjit Tara slammed the previous governments and said that the tools of communalism and secularism are used by opposition to hinder the development process initiated by Government. Latter Koushal Gupta, BJP district general secretary in his address highlighted the fact that BJP is the only party which works for people, with honesty and dedication and thousands of party workers across the UT of J&K are a representation of this.

Prominent among others who were present in the meeting included BJP Mandal president, Vikram Singh, Sarpanch, Maira, Kulbir Singh and Ex. Mandal president, Chain Singh.
