JAMMU: Education/Enforcement drive to free the service lanes from Wrongly parked Vehicles between Greater Kailash and Kunjwani chowk was carried out by Traffic City Jammu in South City under directions from ADGP Traffic J&K T Namgyal and SSP Traffic Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The team comprised of DySP Traffic South Sunil Singh along with DTI Railway Atul Singh and other traffic personnel. Wrong parking stickers were pasted on wrongly parked vehicles causing obstruction to free flow of traffic and Members of business establishments adjoining said People’s were requested to park their vehicles at specified parking slots and don’t cause obstruction to free flow of traffic on National Highway, which can result in fatal accidents along with causing inconvenience to people living in adjoining areas. Today along with challaning, majorty of public were made aware about Traffic rules and “Why obeying Traffic rules are important”.
Peoples of the area especially shopkeepers and living in nearby localities were happy & thanked to Traffic personnels for carrying such fruitful drive.
