JAMMU: A jawan of Para Military Force (PMF), deployed in West Bengal on election duty died on Tuesday.
Official sources said that Kuldeep Kumar, PMF pensonnel, resident of Tipri village in Bhalla of Bhaderwah Sub Division in district Doda, was injured during first phase of elections in West Bengal three days ago. On Tuesday, he succumbed to the injuries in the hospital.
Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitender Singh, who is also MP from Udhampur- Doda Lok Sabha constituency has expressed shock over the incident and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
