Tehsildar burns 20 lakh as ACB visits over bribery allegations

A Tehsildar in the Sirohi area of Rajasthan has put 20 lakh rupees cash on fire when he had earned it illegally. The Tehsildar put the money on fire after he got the news that the anti-corruption bureau may raid his house.

The Tehsildar locked himself and his family in his house and put the cash on the burning stove after he heard that the Anti-corruption bureau caught a revenue officer accepting a bribe of 1 lakh rupees on his behalf.

As per the reports when ACB reached his house to raid he locked himself and his family in the house and put the currency notes on fire. The ACB somehow managed to enter his house with the help of local police and found burnt notes in his kitchen. Also, the ACB has recovered 1.5 lakh rupees from his house.

The ACB has arrested both the accused.
