JMC gives live demonstration of newly launched online services

JAMMU: As live demonstration of newly launched 14 online e-services was given by Commissioner JMC Avny Lavasa. She said that these services help JMC to provide transparent, accountable and efficient local governance through the use of modern technologies especially in management and administration fields.

“JMC has decided to embrace Information Technology in the form of e-Governance as a tool towards this goal. Better IT systems are required to integrate all the workflows seamlessly for a faster and efficient service to the citizens, employees and administrators,” she said, while talking to media persons on the occasion of giving live demonstration of the online e-services, in the presence of Deputy Mayor, Adv Purnima Sharma. These 14 online e-services were launched a day before yesterday by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha. Ankush Kapoor, Informatics Officer, JMC gave live demo of the online applications and describe how to apply online for the applications and also showed samples of digital acknowledgement and certificates to the media for the awareness of the general public.

These online services include issuance of NOC for commercial activities, application for issuance of Birth Certificate & inclusion of Child name in the existing record, application for issuance of Death Certificate, application for correction in the existing birth record, application for correction in the existing death record, issuance of Non Availability Certificate for a birth record, issuance of Non Availability Certificate for a death record, online issuance of permission for installation of Mobile Towers, application for grant of license for milk dairy,

application for issuance of Street Vending/Rehri License, application for registration of Pet Dog, application for registration of Pet Clinic/Bird Trade/Pet Trade etc, application for new sewerage connection and application for road cutting permission.
