13 injured in road mishap

SAMBA: Thirteen passengers were injured when a matador bearing registration number, JK02Q-8667 on way from Vijaypur to Ramgarh turned turtle at village Bana Chak in Ramgarh Sector this evening.

As per reports the driver of the vehicle lost control on steering and vehicle turned turtle on road as a result 13 persons got injured two of them seriously. They have been identified as Sunil Kumar, 50, son of Sudhama Ram of Ramloo Brahmna, Neha, 26, daughter of Ashok Kumar of Mahal Shahan, Kanta Devi, 50,wife of Shamsher Singh of Khokhra Chak, Chander Parkash, 50, son of Bansi Lal of Ramloo Brahmna, Suman ,46, wife of Ramesh of Mahal Shahn, Diksha, 14, daughter of Ramesh of Mahal Shahn, Santosh Kumari, 60, wife of late Girdhari Lal of Mahal Adda, Ravinder Kour, 40, wife of Mohinder Singh of Rathana Camp, Soma Devi, 50, wife of Subash Chander of Trindi, Amit Masih, 27, son of Ajit Masih of Ramgarh, Suresh Kumar, 47, son of Gian Chand of Mahal Shahn, Balvir Singh, 45, son of Nikka Singh of Mandlyal and SI Surinder Kumar, SO CID of Ramgarh.

The locals rushed them to CHC Ramgarh where doctors referred two injured out of 13 to GMC Jammu for further treatment. The police has taken the cognizance of the matter.

The driver and conductor of the vehicle fled after the accident and are still at large.
