POONCH: The Mendhar Gunners under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division organized Annual Sports Meet-2021 at Upper Darana Government School, Mendhar. The event was organized in close coordination with the School and civil administration.
The meet was conducted with an aim to give a platform to the children to showcase their talent and capabilities. The Mendhar Gunners provided all possible assistance to the School administration including construction of Volleyball court, Kho-Kho Ground & sports infrastructure for the smooth conduct of the event.
The students of various age groups participated in the events including Volleyball & Kho-Kho and displayed their talent, team spirit and sportsmanship. The Commanding Officer awarded both the winners and runners-up teams with cash prize of Rs 2500 each.
While speaking on the occasion, the Commanding Officer emphasized upon the importance of sports and games in human lives.
