JAMMU: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized free medical camps. 76 Battalion CRPF organized a free medical camp under the guidance of PS Ranpise, IGP Jammu Sector, Rajendra Prasad, DIG Jammu Range and Sunit Varshney Commandant 76 Battalion under Civic Action Programme at Guru Ravidas Community Hall Channi Rama Jammu.
In the Medical camp, 6 medical officers of civil administration and CRPF namely Dr SL Fotra MO 76 Battalion, Dr Ayushi Bhushan, MO, Dr Maninder Singh MO, Dr Gurubinder Singh, General Physician, Dr Chandan Sharma, MD (Med), Dr Tarun Malik, CH CRPF Bantalab diagnosed the local patients to whom free of cost medicines were also distributed. Besides, COVID-19 preventive kits were also distributed to 80 local women. Total 267 persons were benefited from the above camp. Kamal Sisodiya, Second-in-Command, Mahendra Singh, Second-in-Command, Satyaveer Singh, Deputy Commandant, SS Somawanshi, Deputy Commandant of 76 Battalion CRPF also participated in the camp. Meanwhile, 38 Battalion CRPF organized a Free Medical Camp under Civic Action programme (CAP) in village Utterbehni District Samba. During the camp, medical check-up was conducted and free medicines were distributed to the needy people of the area.
On the occasion, Deepak Mehra, Second-In-Command 38 Battalion CRPF appealed to all people of the area to remain fit by doing physical exercises regularly and sanitize them for healthy food. The program was attended by Devendra Singh, HL Bairava Deputy Commandant, Sanjay Mohanty, Deputy Commandant, Senior Medical Officer Dr Rahul Malpotra, Khriezovo Zutso, Company Commander G/38 Battalion, CRPF and other personnel of the Battalion. During the programme, Sunita Sharma, Sarpanch village Utterbehni, Dr Sonali Gupta, Yashpal Sharma and other dignitaries were also present.
The local police, dignitaries and public urged the CRPF to organize such camps in the future also.
