JAMMU: Chief patron of the J&K National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof Bhim Singh has been elected as State president of the party.
According to party sources, after hectic deliberations by senior leadership, Working Committee members and district presidents of JKNPP over the elections of State president for Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh (UTs), today at party office, Jammu, PK Ganju, Returning Officer for the Party election, declared chief patron and founder , Prof Bhim Singh as the president of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party for 2021-23.
Most of the 20 district presidents, Working Committee members, other office bearers voted virtually in favour of Prof Bhim Singh to be elected as the president of JKNPP.
The decision was taken after resignation of former president Balwant Singh Mankotia ( Ex-MLA) Udhampur from the post, the party sources said.
