DC Ramban visits District Hospital to ascertain compliance of instructions

RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today paid a surprise visit to District Hospital to inspect the action taken on the instructions issued by him during his maiden visit to the health institution regarding regulation of parking, cleanliness and hygiene.

The DC directed the Medical Superintendent to ensure implementation of COVID-19 SOPs at both OPD and IPD, besides providing token numbers to avoid jumbling of patients. The registration under PMJAY and SEHAT through Arogya workers was also reviewed and instructions were passed to achieve the targets. The Deputy Commissioner also advised doctors as well as paramedical staff to sensitize the patients and other attendants about the importance of wearing face masks and use of hand sanitizer. The DC asked Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent to ensure parking management of hospital staff and Hospital vehicles.

Earlier, the CMO and MS apprised the DC about the requirements of equipment and infrastructural development.
