Country’s COVID-19 recovery rate reaches to 96.82 percent

NEW DELHI: A total number of 13 lakh 90 thousand 592 people have been administered Covid-19 vaccines in the country so far. The Health and Family Welfare Ministry informed that more than three lakh 47 thousand people have been inoculated with Covid-19 doses in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the country’s COVID-19 recovery rate reached 96.82 per cent with the total recovery of more than 17 thousand patients in the last 24 hours. The Health and Family Welfare Ministry said that more than one crore three lakh patients have already been recovered from this disease. Covid-19 active cases is on a declining trajectory in the country. Presently, the total number of active cases in the country is one lakh 85 thousand 662 which comprises only 1.74 per cent of the total positive cases. The Ministry informed that a total number of 14 thousand 256 new cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours taking the cumulative positive cases to over one crore six lakh 39 thousand. The Health Ministry said, 152 deaths have been reported in a single day taking the toll to one lakh 53 thousand 184 across the country.

The Indian Council of Medical Research said that various laboratories have conducted more than eight lakh 37 thousand tests of coronavirus samples during the last 24 hours and more than 19 crore 9 lakh tests have been done in the country so far.
