Husband of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has been arrested under Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a 13-year-old girl with Police Post Sarwal stating that her uncle Ravi Sethi of Rehari made an attempt to outrage her modesty. Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 197/2020 under Sections 354 IPC and 7/8 POCSO Act was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and Ravi Sethi has been arrested. It is pertinent to mention here that Ravi Sethi is husband of former President of BJP MM Rajni Sethi and the victim is his niece. Further investigation into the case is going on.
