Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic City Jammu Shiv Kumar Sharma visited Amphalla, CPO Chowk and also under-construction Car Parking Project at Circular Road (Panjtirthi) to take stock of traffic arrangements. SSP Traffic City Jammu was accompanied by Deputy SP Traffic City North Shivali Kotwal, Inspector Rakesh Kumar DTI, SO Ved Mandir, SI Des Raj Sharma and other officers/officials of Traffic Police City Jammu. The team of officers/officials of Traffic Jammu took a round at Amphalla, CPO Chowk, Kachi Chawni and Panjtirthi, and where SSP Traffic directed the deputed traffic police officials to regulate the smooth flow of vehicular traffic as due to landslide at Panjtirthi, the traffic congestion was witnessed at Panjtirthi towards Circular Road. “In view of traffic congestions at Panjtirthi owing to landslide near Circular Road, citizens are requested to take alternative routes i.e. via Manda and DC Office Roads,” the SSP Traffic said. Multi-level Car Parking Project of Jammu Municipality Corporation at Panjtirthi is aimed at meeting the parking space requirement to de-congest traffic on Jammu city roads.
