Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh inaugurated Police Martyrs’ Memorial Sports Festival at District Police Lines, here. He also inaugurated Model Police Naka at Jakheni Chowk along the Udhampur- Srinagar National Highway. During the sports festival, different sports events including Kabaddi and Volleyball tournaments will be played. IGP Jammu, DIG U-R Range, SSP Udhampur along with other police officers interacted with the players and assured them of providing all kind of support to boost sports activities in the district. IGP Jammu also held crime meeting with all SDPOs and SHOs in which the scenario for the ongoing Navratra festivals and forthcoming Panchayat/Zila Parishad elections in UT J&K were also discussed.
