The 6th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) stationed at Katra has distributed solar lights under Civic Action Programme (CAP) among the residents of all 9 wards of Sukhal Ghati and Devigarh villages. On the occasion, Charu Sinha, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jitendra Kumar Gupta, Commandant 6th Battalion CRPF, Narendra Kumar Saran Second-In-Command (Operation) 6th Bn, Devendra Kumar, A/C officer Commanding G/6 Bn and large number of villagers including women and children were present on the occasion. Around 600 solar lights were distributed among the inhabitants. On the directions of IGP Charu Sinha, Dr Bhanu Pratap Singh, Medical Officer of 6 Battalion CRPF along with unit Hospital staff has trained 18 boys and girls belonging to these villages in the “Medical First Aid” and also provided medicines to the needy people. The CAP was a huge success and received warm welcome by the villagers of Sukhal Ghati and Devigarh villages.
