6 thieves arrested with stolen items

Police arrested six thieves along with stolen items. As per police sources, on September 7 this year, a man namely Alok Raj, son of Bihari Lal of Chhattisgarh, at present Channi Bija lodged a complaint with Police Station Channi Himmat stating that some unknown thieves entered into his DJ Shop situated at Praveen Colony, Channi Himmat and committed theft of valuable items. Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 99/2020 under sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started. During investigation of the case, a team from Channi Himmat Police Station led by SHO Inspector Karan Chalotra arrested four thieves, who were identified as Babu Piyada, son of Kasem Ali Piyada, Sandeep Swanakar, son of Asit Swanakar and Shaidul Gazi, son of Abdul Gazi, all residents of West Bengal. Identity of one of the accused is not disclosed as he is juvenile. On their disclosure, police team recovered 2 amplifiers, 3 CPUs and Rs 5,000 cash. Meanwhile, a complaint was received at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu from Raj Kumar, son of Bharat Bhushan of Qasim Nagar regarding theft of his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AV-9043 from the main gate of his house. In this regard, a case under FIR Number 73/2020 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and hunt was launched to arrest the thief. After strenuous effort, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station led by SHO Inspector Kirti Sharma arrested the accused along with stolen bike. The arrested person has been identified as Sourab Galotra, son of Devi Dass of Kacha Talab Bagh-e-Bahu District Jammu. However, on August 25 this year, a complaint was lodged by Deepak Sharma, son of Ashok Kumar of Pallanwaala, Akhnoor with Police Post Narwal stating that some unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BV-3812. Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 212/2020 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started. During the course of investigation, a team from Narwal Police Post led by SI Vikas Jasrotia arrested the thief, who was identified as Salman Khan, son of Aamir Khan of Malik Market, District Jammu. Stolen bike was recovered from his possession. Further investigation into the cases is going on.
