The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena led by its President Ashok Gupta held protest here today against the intrusion attempts by China in Ladakh. The protestors also burnt the posters of Chinese Premier Xi Jin Ping. While speaking, Gupta demanded strong war kind action against China. “The most serious clash took place on June 15 at Galwan Valley, when a violent hand-to-hand fight led to the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers. China has admitted casualties on their side, but not revealed any numbers”, Gupta added. He said that the armed forces are standing fearlessly to protect Mother India. Gupta said that the Indian Army troops thwarted China’s attempts and protected the territory. “India will not tolerate such kind of activities. This attack on Indian soil has sparked rage among the people”, he stated. Referring to the rising tensions at the Indo-Pak and Indo-Nepal borders also in the recent weeks, he said the country was clearly surrounded by forces seeking to destabilize its peace by taking advantage of the COVID-19 crisis. “Let them be warned that India will not compromise on national security at any cost, and is capable of combating external challenges even as it continues to battle the pandemic internally”, he asserted.
