Army in its relentless efforts to promote peace and stability in the region prevented an accident by ensuring timely recovery of a stranded vehicle, which could have fallen down in a valley. Last night a civilian while driving a mini school bus from Sasalkot to village Punthil lost control of the vehicle and went off the track. The bus remains stranded on the edge of valley for entire night as no support could be extended by the locals due to remoteness of location. The next day Principal of Genius Public Middle School, Keri approached the Army for assistance. The Army swung into action and reached the site immediately and recovered the struck vehicle. The successful recovery was a huge relief for the commuters.
