As India celebrates the Children’s Day on Thursday, Google is paying a tribute to former Prime Minister Pandit Jawarhalal Nehru’s birthday with a doodle. Since 2009, Google has been hosting a competition ‘Doodle 4 Google’ on Children’s Day in India. This year’s theme for the doodle competition was “When I grow up, I hope…”. The “Walking Tree” doodle has been made by seven-year-old, 2nd grader Divyanshi Singhal from Gurgaon. Divyanshi hopes to have “Walking Trees” in the future, to protect the next generations from deforestation.
