Police on Wednesday nabbed a vehicle lifter and recovered 10 two-wheelers on his disclosure. As per the details, on September 17, 2019, a case of bike theft was reported at Police Station Gangyal by one Amrik Singh, son of Hardev Singh, resident of Raipur Satwari. During investigation, one suspect namely Rajinder Singh alias Mangu, son of Varinder Singh, resident of W.No-1 Simbal Camp Jammu was apprehended who was put under sustained questioning. He confessed the crime and on his disclosure 10 two wheelers were recovered which include Apache (NoJK02BF-8022); Super Splendour (JK02BC-5447); Splendour (JK02AB-2050); FZ Yamaha Without No/ Chassis No.ME121 CO2492012491; TVS Apache (JK02AR-4653); Scooty Honda Activa Without No/ Chassis No.ME4JF493HF8024; Splendour Without No/ Chassis MBLJA10BFF4C05120; R1-5 Without No/ Chassis MEHCK046B2009150; Super Splendour Without No/ Chassis No MBLJAR034H9E54424; Splendour (JK02CC-8756). The recoveries were made by Insp Sunil Singh Jasrotia along with PSI Birbhan Singh Charak under the close supervision of SDPO City South Jammu Dy.SP Ram Singh, SP South Vinay Sharma and overall Supervision of SSP Jammu Tajinder Singh.
