Airtel distributes bicycles to daughters of its rural distributors under ‘Airtel ki Laadli’ program

In a unique initiative to empower girls and celebrate their freedom to choose their own destination, Airtel today distributed 218 bicycles to the daughters of its Rural Distributors across Upper North area which includes Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. The bicycles were distributed by Rajnish Verma, COO J&K, Bharti Airtel to the recipients in Jammu in presence of their family members. The recipients include Bishali Devi (Class 12th) from Jourian, Anshra Aziz (Class 5th) from Mendhar, Maliha Husan (Class 6th) from Mendhar, Rukia Shareef (Class 3rd) from Ramban, Aiysha (Class 5th) from Ramban, Tanvi( Class 6th) from Reasi, Neevriti Thakur (Class 5th) from Doda, Madiha Rasool (Class 8th) from Nagrota and Azmat Bano (U.K.G.) from Kishtwar. All the recipients were elated on receiving the new bicycles under the ‘Airtel ki Laadli’ initiative.
