Three days Jammu District Judo Championship, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association, under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association concluded here on Monday. Around 300 Judokas drawn from various Schools of Jammu District took part in the Championship. Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Jaidev Rajwal , State In-charge IT and Social Media BJP and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Senior Vice President J&K Judo Association were the guests of honour, who distributed prizes among the medal winners on the occasion. The bouts were officiated by Judo coaches namely Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshi Nad, Vikas Dogra, Ritika Slathia and Rameshwar Singh. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Complex MA Stadium Jammu, Varinder Dogra, Shiv Kumart, Suraj Sharma, Sidharth Sharma, Rajesh Verma, Munish Chatwal and Organising Secretary Vikas Dogra. The gold medal winners in Under-18 girls section of various weight categories included Aradhya, Anjali, Khushi Thakur and Sehar, while in Under-15 girls, the gold medals went to Sunakshi, Harshot, Nirali and Kumakshi. In Under-18 boys, the gold medals were claimed by Eshan, Raghav Singh, Asam, Varun Sharma, Mudit Raina, Ayush Kumar, Sourav and Paranjal, while in Under-15 boys, the gold medals went to Ridham Sharma, Satyam, Atul, Suraj, Hitesh, Shanwaj, Akshay, Arnav Gupta, Sunny and Rajat Singh.
