Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board on Tuesday appealed to the pilgrims from across the country that the pilgrimage to the cave shrine is smoothly progressing and do not pay heed to rumours. Situation in J&K remained peaceful after revocation of Article 370. Administration imposed restrictions, which were lifted later while mobile internet service still remains snapped. “There are no untoward like incident and no suspension or cancellation of yatra and it is smoothly progressing,” an official Twitter handler of the Shrine Board wrote on micro-blogging site.
