A delegation of Sanskrit scholars met Mahant Rohit Shastri at Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan at Raipur, Bantalab and presented memorandum to him. Scholars put forward their issues and problems associated with Sanskrit language in Jammu and Kashmir. Delegation of Sanskrit scholars said the Govt upgraded the schools upto higher secondary but they haven’t introduce the Sanskrit language as one of the subject. Moreover, they also said Sanskrit language should be introduced from Ist standard in the schools. This step will bring a new revolution in the development of Sanskrit language and people will start learning Sanskrit which is mother of all languages. Mahant Rohit Shastri assured the delegation that he will put their demands before the Governor. Mahant Rohit Shastri appealed to people to make Sanskrit language as a daily mean of communication and to opt sanskrit language in their studies so that the coming generation will know the good things present in our ancient books like vedas, Upanishads etc. On the occasion Sandeep Sharma, Ramnik, Mahesh Sharma, Rohit Seth, Shambu Sharma, Komal Kumari, Asha Sharma, Parveen Sharma, Panjak Sharma and other scholars were also present.
