Continuing its crackdown against drug menace under Operation Sanjeevani, District Police Jammu arrested a drug peddler and recovered charas today. During routine patroling or naka checking at Shuna Chowak, Jourian, a police party of PP Jourian led by IC PP, SI Sudesh Kumar, apprehended one person namely Rajinder Singh, S/o Suram Singh, R/o Ward No.04, Khour. On checking, 45.40 gm of charas like substance was recovered from his possession. In this regard, FIR no. 116/2019 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Akhnoor and investigation started.
