DDC Doda holds Public outreach programme at Chilly Pingal

District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today held Public Outreach Programme at Chilly Pingal area of Sub Division Gandoh and listened to the grievances of the local public. The locals sought twenty bedded trauma centre with proper health care system, replacement of worn out water pipe lines, improved Road Connectivity, upgradation of existing PHCs, adequate staff in schools, health centres and monitoring of Anganwadi centres under ICDS. They also demanded holding of awareness programs by agriculture, horticulture, animal and sheep husbandary departments. The issue of delayed payment in Rural Development, installation of electric metres, construction of Bhatoli chilly road and other public grievances were discussed threadbare in the programme. The DDC directed the concerned ZEO for rationalisation of teaching staff in schools with high enrollment and less staff especially in HS Bhatoli and Manu, He asked to provide nutritional food in mid day meal on daily basis. He directed the CDPO to conduct visit to all the Angwani centres to see whether these are functioning on daily basis and also directed to submit a detailed proposal for requirement of new Anganwadi centres in accordance to the norms. He also directed BMO to conduct healthcare related awareness camps on regular basis like eye camp, free medical checkups etc. The PDD department was asked to install electric metres so that rationalisation of charges can be made. The DDC directed the tehsildar to provide certificates to applicants on the spot and conduct field visits to ensure that employees are attending their duties regulalry. Other officials present during the DDC visit were Tehsildar Chilly, BDO Chilly Pingal and kahara, BMO besides the officials of other departments.
