Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Khalid Jahangir today sanctioned Rs 3,20,000 financial assistance to persons who were injured in the road accidents occurring on the poll day on 23 April 2019 at Zalangam Sagam and Buchoo, Kokernag in the district.
Three injured persons were provided Rs 20,000 each and 26 other injured were given Rs 10,000 each out of Red Cross Fund for medical treatment, an official handout said.
