A 55-year-old man died after falling from his newly constructed house in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning.
Somnath Sharma son of Rugunath Nath Sharma, a resident of Dachial, Mendhar, fell from the roof of his house, reported news agency He was immediately rushed to SDH Mendhar where doctors declared him brought dead.
Medical officer Javaid Ahmad told GNS that Somnath was brought dead to the hospital and prima facie it seems he had suffered heart attack due to which he became unconscious which led to his fall.
