Inter School Sports Competition between various schools of Tangmarg was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here. The main event of the competition was “Sprintathon” which saw the participation of more than 350 students from 40 different schools. The students participated in the race with high sprite and enthusiasm.
The race was conducted in two categories: under 17 and under 14 for both boys and girls.
ShaziaFarooq of Class IX of Army Goodwill School (AGS), Ziran bagged the first position in under 17 girl’s category while as Rashid Mohi-ud-Din bagged the third position in under 17 boy’s category. In under 14 boy’s category, Mudabir Bashir and Master Zakir Ashraf bagged the third and fourth positions respectively. The budding sprinters of Army Goodwill School, Ziran were congratulated by the Secretary and Principal of Army Goodwill School, Ziran for their exemplary performance.
