Anantnag, Sept 13: A teen protester was killed in clashes between security forces in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Tuesday, taking the number of killings in the ongoing Kashmir violence to 82.
The deceased was identified Shahid Ahmad Seh, as son of Mohammad Yousuf, resident of Nagbal village of Imam Sahib area of the district.
Six people were injured in the clashes, said a witness, adding that all the injured were rushed to PHC Harmain where Shahid was declared as brought dead.
Chief Medical Officer Shopian Dr Abdul Rashid confirmed the death of Shahid.
