Dogra Degree College organized a one-day excursion to Sadda Pind. To provide students with a refreshing break from their regular academic routine, they were given an opportunity to unwind and enjoy a day filled with fun and excitement. A group of 50 students, accompanied by mentors Shikha Gupta, Aditi Khajuria, Rinkal Gupta and Shivani Kashyap, who immersed themselves in the vibrant cultural experience, exploring traditional Punjabi heritage and enjoying various activities. The excursion planned just served as a much-needed respite for the students. It also allowed teachers to interact with and observe students in an informal setting, strengthening their bond beyond the classroom. Students relished the traditional cuisine, engaged in folk music and dance, and participated in interactive experiences that showcased rural Punjab’s rich culture. The trip commenced at 6:00 AM, and the group safely returned by 10:00 PM. Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and expressed their eagerness for more such outings in the future.
